These Terms are between you and Jovie Technology Inc. ("Jovie", "we", "us").
Acceptance of Terms
By using Jovie, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of this document, do not continue to use the service until you have contacted legal@jov.ie and resolved the concern.
What Jovie Provides
Jovie is a modern profile and link management platform for musicians. Our core features include:
- Publishable artist profiles that showcase content, tour dates, and digital links
- Connections to your Spotify metadata so your audience sees the latest information
- Dashboard analytics that highlight engagement and conversion insight
- Social link management so every call-to-action always points fans where you want
We deliver Jovie through a secure web app that respects your brand and creative control.
User Accounts
Creation & Credentials
- You must provide accurate and updated information during onboarding.
- Each account is tied to a single individual; sharing credentials is not permitted.
- You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of authentication tokens.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Fraud, abuse, or behavior that violates these Terms
- Repeated policy violations or spamming activity
- Requests from the account owner to close the profile
- Legal obligations or court orders
If your account is terminated, your public profile may be disabled, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Content and Conduct
Acceptable Use
You may use Jovie to:
- Showcase your music and creative work
- Share authentic updates with fans
- Direct traffic to streaming services, merch, or booking contacts
Prohibited Activities
You must not:
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Upload content that infringes copyrights or contains hate speech
- Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt our infrastructure
- Use the platform for spam, phishing, or abusive outreach
Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of what you publish on your profile. By using Jovie you grant us a limited license to host and display your content.
Our Service
Jovie and all associated technology, interface, and trademarks are proprietary. You agree not to copy, resell, or redistribute our service without permission.
DMCA / Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content on Jovie infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent:

Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
- Identification of the material on Jovie that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 10 business days. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@jov.ie containing:
- Identification of the material that was removed
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
- Your physical or electronic signature
Privacy and Data
We value your privacy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Payment and Subscriptions
Free Access Today
Jovie is currently free for all creators. You will not be charged unless we notify you of a paid plan and obtain your consent.
Future Paid Products
If we launch paid upgrades, we will clearly communicate pricing, billing intervals, and cancellation steps before charging your payment method.
Disclaimers and Liability
Jovie is provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee uptime or fitness for a particular use. We disclaim liability for:
- Service interruptions or data loss caused by maintenance or outages
- Issues stemming from third-party integrations (Spotify, Stripe, Statsig, etc.)
- Indirect damages such as lost profits or lost opportunities
Changes to These Terms
We may modify the Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email, dashboard notices, or in-app banners for material changes. Continued use after notice means you accept the updates.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Binding Arbitration
Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in San Francisco, California, unless both parties agree to a different location or virtual proceedings.
Class Action Waiver
You and Jovie agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Jovie Technology Inc..
Small Claims Exception
Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court in San Francisco County, California.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@jov.ie within 30 days of first using Jovie. Your notice must include your name, email address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration.
